This morning my husband called me on his way to work and says "you have to grab your camera and head out of town to see the clouds"...So if you don't know this about me, I have a thing for clouds :0)
We live in a town that is setteled in a valley, so I don't get to see the amazing sunsets or sunrises unless I go to the top of the hill.

It is rare that Jack will call me and be impressed by the landscapes that he sees, so I need to go check this out! I grab my camera gear and head out the door.  Because of experience, I know that the sky changes so quickly, and I might only have a few min. to get to see what he is talking about.

All I have to say to my amazing husband is "thank you and I love you!"  This beautiful site is what he saw on his way to work and I love it that he called to share it with me.

Fellow Bloggers

Every morning I wake-up, get my coffee ready and have a few blogs that I always look at.  There are a few amazing photographers I love to follow.  Matt Nicolosi is one of those photographers. Not only is he an outstanding photographer, but he is also very entertaining! He has a great personality and an outstanding artistic eye.  I must say I think this man can make anything look phenomenal.

So I was reading his some of his recent posts and when I watched this post I just thought I would share it with all of you.

Thanks for posting this Matt.  I also agree it is funny and very true :)

Inspiration

It was all familiar territory as I pulled into the driveway. The same smells of an Iowa farm, the collie walking around eager to greet me, and the relaxing breeze of the country air I remembered as a child.  I haven't been to Mandy's parents house since I was in High School. (so it has been a lot longer than I like to admit!)  She told me that she was getting married next year and I was estatic! Mandy opened the door not giving me the chance to make my timely introduction of doorbell ringing. We both had a little laugh about that!
She looked so great! There are just some people in my life that make big impacts. I became inspired and envious. Mandy has lost 100+ pounds in the last year. Simply because she decided she didn't want to live the lifestyle she was living before.  She told me "Something needed to change" when she was sick in the hospital.  Amazingly she has worked so hard and continuiously at going to the gym and making the effort to change her lyfestlye, at first glance I hardly recognized my childhood friend.
We laughed and headed down memory lane and her fiance, Dan, was so patient with us.  you know how girls can get sometimes :)  Even though Mandy and I hadn't talked for quite sometime, it was like the time that had passed never seperated us.
I am just so proud of her....she has taken control of her life...decided to make a change and did it! She is an amazing person and a true inspiration.  Dan.....you are one lucky guy!
